About the Company
Trigall Genetics is a Joint-Venture between Florimond Desprez (‘FD'), a French multi-crop breeding company, and Bioceres Crop Solution (´BIOX’), a Global company specialized in crop productivity technology including seeds and biotechnology. Trigall is dedicated to developing wheat genetics, pulses, and related biotech traits in the southern hemisphere.
Scope of Position
Lead and manage general aspects of the business to build a successful go-to market and expansion strategy for South America while keeping appropriate management of the day-to-day activities of the company.
Job responsibilities
Business development:
Overall responsibility for the licensing and marketing of Trigall wheat varieties and traits in South America. In Argentina you will have to lead the TG legume/pulses diversification project.
Lead product management: in the short term, collaborate across the business to develop and implement effective product launch and go-to-market to maximize the value and penetration of Trigall's products. In the long term, it will ensure good understanding between the market and Trigall developments.
Contribute to the evaluation of additional development projects at the international level.
Analyze markets, carry out strategic marketing actions for business development.
Businesses Administration
Supervise the compliance of the activities with the proposed budget and the deadlines of the deliverables.
Prepare reports and materials for board meetings.
Coordinate annual budget approvals and executions with the support of the FD and Bioceres Crop Solutions team, both acting as service providers.
Oversee the development of company projects by defining deadlines and ensure proper delivery by organizing the various stakeholders.
Manage external accounting support, conduct business analysis and business plan updates and liaise with FD and Bioceres Crop Solutions corporate finance function to ensure business reporting and financial consolidation.
Guarantee compliance of the legal entity and prepare for possible future contracts according to the evolution of the project.
Requirements
Training: Agricultural Engineer or related careers or Marketing & Sales with proven experience in the seed industry. It will be valued to have a MBA with orientation in agroindustry. Business profiles are preferred, with strategic analysis capacity (rather than specific technical ones)
Experience: More than 10 years of relevant experience in the agricultural industry, preferably in seeds.
Industry knowledge: technical and product management experience in the agricultural field. Business plan elaboration and analysis. seed/breeding background will be a plus.
Language: English Advanced (exclusive). Spanish intermediate & French intermediate (both languages not exclusive)
Computer science: Excel – advanced level - mastery of information systems.
Availability to travel throughout South America and other territories.
