Principal Enviornmental Consultant - Australia

Senior Environmental Consultant - CEnvP - to be the Principal Consultant, lead and grow a Contaminated Land Management (CLM) Practice. Mentor and develop a small team, working with clients, peers and industry specialists to address a wide range of CLM issues.

We seek an ambitious Environmental Consultant who has a passion to run the Contaminated Land Management Practice. Manage the P&L, be the technical lead and develop a team of young professionals.

This growing multi-disciplinary consultancy operates across Australia and increasingly into Asia. It provides Environmental, HAZMAT, Occupational Hygiene and Acoustic consulting to a diverse range of Government and Corporate clients in the Building, Manufacturing, Chemical, Defence, Mining, Energy and Construction sectors.

Leading the CLM practice leading a team of scientists and environmentalists, you will report to the Directors and be a member of the company's Executive Management Team in Sydney Head Office. Your job is to:

Be the recognised subject matter expert in Contaminated Land Management and Remediation

Manage all aspects of the CLM Practice, focussing on, profitability / P&L, market opportunities and development of the internal capability to better serve existing and future clients.

Take advantage of synergies in other practice areas (HAZMAT, Training, Noise & Vibration, Occupational Hygiene) and work closely with the Business Development Manager.

Mentor and develop the Environmental Consulting team.

As the Principal Consultant; be hands-on in delivering consulting work.

You possess qualifications in Environmental Science, Science, Engineering, or a related discipline. You are, a qualified Certified Environmental Practitioner CEnvP. You enjoy working with a wide range of stakeholders and getting out on site. You must be able to provide hard-edged evidence of success in the delivery of Contaminated Land Assessment and Remediation, Environmental Investigation and Auditing Services.

You have strong commercial acumen and a passion for customer service and a strong capability in leading and developing people.
